Love ThisJust a guess, but I suspect that this is in response to the current rumors about Clay's recent visit to the American Idol set. In reality, he took his son to go visit some friends who work there. No more... no less. It was not a ploy to try to weasel his way on the show or to meet with the contestants. I don't know why it is so important to some "journalists" to make up these stories, but it really speaks to the sad state of journalism when they make up or blindly quote such fiction. Can't believe everything you read anymore.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Thank you for your blog. Clay is a brilliant talent and is a much nicer person than I am. I don't think I could survive all that he has.
It is nice to see some honest reporting. Thank you!!!
Clay is a man wise beyond his years. I love this quote from Mother Teresa
Clay Aiken is the best.
Mother Teresa's words are spot on.
Clay Aiken looks to me these days like a man who is very much at peace with himself, and he rightly should be. He knows who he is, he knows the truth, and so do his fans.
There are no words to describe the fortitude of this man. There are those that have tried to bring him down and he is still standing taller than ever. I am very proud of him!
I also believe that is true, he stopped by the Idol set with his baby to visit with friends there. The sleazy tabloids came up with some outrageous stories and rumors, and it has snowballed, and gets more ridiculous with every story that appears on the internet! Thank God that Clay Aiken is the kind of man who can rise above this kind of garbage and defamation. It's unbelievable how low today's "journalism" has sunk!
What a man Clay Aiken is. There are no words.
Clay Aiken is an amazing man. I love the words of Mother Teresa - the are quite appropriate.
Actually, you can't believe ANYTHING you read anymore. When the NY Times prints a fake story as it's page one headline, about a Presidential candidate, you know the state of journalism is in the toilet. That said, I love that quote by Mother Teresa, and so many others from that dear woman. Clay Aiken has good instincts for the people who inspire him.
Thank you for the Clay Aiken blog.
It is really sad that the so called media will pick up a Twitter comment and spin a tabloid story and THEN other media sites pick it up as truth. Sad how the media has NO integrity any more. I hate what the media has done to celebs, especially Clay Aiken. His Mother Teresa post was certainly appropriate.
